Fall Season

The fall season is a 6-week season that meets only 1-2 days a week to keep kids engaged and offer them an opportunity to continue building their lacrosse and R.E.S.P.E.C.T. skills. Each fall approximately 200 kids participate in the program.

Key Dates for Fall 2008

  • To register for MetroLacrosse's 6-week Fall lacrosse season, please return the 2008 Fall Sign-Up Sheet to MetroLacrosse by Thursday, September 4th.   
  • Fall Season Begins - Week of September 15, 2008
  • Fall Season Ends - Saturday, October 25, 2008

Eligibility

Any 3rd through 12th grade boy or girl who lives or attends school in Boston, East Cambridge or Chelsea is eligible for the Fall Season. Many players have successfully completed the spring season and/or a summer program with MetroLacrosse, but new players are encouraged to join teams in the fall season as an introduction to the sport of lacrosse and to MetroLacrosse as an organization.

Rookies, Youth and Junior League (3rd - 8th graders)

Rookies (3rd & 4th graders), Youth (5th & 6th graders) and Juniors (7th & 8th graders) will practice once a week in the fall.  The practice days and locations are below. 

High School League (9th - 12th graders)

2 Teams (1 boys' team and 1 girls' team)

The High School Boys' and Girls' teams will practice 1-2 times per week at Moakley Field.  Additionally, players will compete in at least one competitive tournament during the six week fall season.
