SummerBounce

Each summer, MetroLacrosse offers a one-week overnight camp for approximately 80 Junior players (players entering 8th and 9th grades in the fall of 2008) who successfully complete the spring season. The camp, held at New Hampton School in New Hampshire, includes lacrosse skill development, teambuilding initiatives, ropes course activities and personal leadership development.

Key Dates for SummerBounce 2008

  • Each parent is required to attend one mandatory parent meeting. 
  • Parent Meetings will be held in May and June of 2008, dates and locations TBD.
  • Camp begins - Saturday, June 28th, 2008
  • Camp ends - Wednesday, July 2nd, 2008

Eligibility

Any Junior player who successfully completes the spring season, and is recommended for camp by his/her coaches and MetroLacrosse staff.   Recommendations for camp are based on a player's ability to demonstrate the principles of R.E.S.P.E.C.T.   

Registration Information

Fee: MetroLacrosse asks that participants pay a small fee to help with the cost of running camp. 

  • $20 for one week overnight camp

  • Checks can be made payable to "MetroLacrosse." Cash and credit cards are also accepted.

Additional Camper Information Required for all SummerScores campers:

  • Copy of physical exam, completed and signed by a doctor within the past year
  • History of immunizations, signed by a doctor, including MMR: 1st dose, Measles: 2nd dose, Polio: 3 doses OPV or IPV, or 4 doses mix IPV / OPV, Diptheria and Tetanus Toxoids and Pertussis: 4 doses mix IPV and OPV, (Booster dose of Td required if more than 5 yrs since last dose of DTa/DTP/DT/Td), Hep B: 3 doses if born on or after 1/1/92
