Coaches, general one-day volunteers, and RESPECT referees are needed for the Spring 2008 season.  For any volunteer position at MetroLacrosse, playing or coaching experience is helpful, but not required.  The Volunteer Programs Overview summarizes year-round volunteer opportunities.

If you are volunteering for MetroLacrosse for the first time, please return both a Volunteer Application form and a Volunteer Request Form to Carly Himmelstein via email, mail, or fax.  Returning volunteers only need to submit a Volunteer Request Form.

Coaches - Spring 2008

MetroLacrosse is looking for individuals who are interested in teaching basic lacrosse skills at our ongoing lacrosse activities or who want to serve as coaches for one of our 26 boys' and girls' lacrosse teams in the following neighborhoods:  Chelsea, Dorchester, East Boston, Hyde Park, Mattapan and Roxbury. While prior playing and coaching experience is a great asset, the desire to teach our character education curriculum and guide youth is most important to us.

"This has been the single most rewarding program I have ever been involved with. From the volunteers to the staff to the kids and parents, I have more memories than I know what to do with."
