Fall Ball

The Fall Ball is MetroLacrosse’s annual fundraising gala where guests celebrate and support MetroLacrosse’s impact on Boston's urban communities.

The 2007 MetroLacrosse Fall Ball, held on November 16th at the Hampshire House in Boston, brought together over 200 people in celebration and support of MetroLacrosse.  The event was hosted by TV Diner and Kiss 108FM’s Billy Costa and featured entertainment by the Jake Ivory’s Road Show and casino games by Casino Productions.

The night continued with award presentations to Megan Britt for her outstanding commitment to MetroLacrosse as a volunteer coach as well as the Kate Risley Foundation for their continued support of MetroLacrosse since 2001.  The highlight of the evening was a speech by high school participant Irene Jor who spoke about how MetroLacrosse has helped shape who she is.  To read her full speech, please click here

Thanks to all of our supporters for making this year’s Fall Ball a tremendous success!  All proceeds from the MetroLacrosse Fall Ball benefit MetroLacrosse's ongoing efforts to provide free, year-round lacrosse and character education programs to hundreds of youth living in Boston's historically underserved urban communities.

"Before I was part of Metro I had a feeling that I wanted to do something positive. I wanted to have an active role in being a leader of my peers in Chelsea, and maybe someday around Boston. I believe that Metro is helping me to achieve this goal."

- Hector Maldonado, Chelsea Red Devils
